This was the most amazing dental experience I have had! The staff was wonderful. The cleaning was gentle yet very thorough. Truly the best experience I’ve had in my 38 years! So grateful I found Dr Chai and her team!
A healthy smile starts with general dentistry in The Woodlands. Our dentists provide all the general dental services you need to keep your teeth in terrific shape, from dental exams to gum disease treatment.
You’ll benefit from:
If you need to book a dental exam or other general dentistry service, call us today at 281-720-3163. We welcome patients from The Woodlands and from nearby communities like Spring, Conroe, and Tomball.
Gum disease is a serious problem, one that can advance from a less serious early stage into another stage where you can lose teeth. Because of this, we take gum disease very seriously. Our dentists look for signs of it during every exam. Detecting it in its earliest stage makes it easy and less expensive to treat. In many cases, you’ll need a deep cleaning treatment called scaling and root planing. We use a laser to keep the procedure as quick and painless as possible.
If you play sports, especially activities that involve a ball, you should protect your teeth with a custom mouthguard. According to the Journal of the American Dental Association, up to 39 percent of all dental injuries are related to sports. Wearing a mouthguard will help you avoid costly restorative dentistry repairs. We’ll fit you for a custom mouthguard that will fit better and provide more effective protection than one purchased from a store.
Excellent interaction with everybody from receptionist thru my entire visit. Very clean atmosphere. They took time to answer my questions and explain their findings. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone.
Dr Chai & staff are terrific!
I highly recommend Smiles by Dr. Chai. Not only is she a great dentist that takes time with her patients but, her entire team are AWESOME!! Always very welcoming, thorough, and takes the time to answer any questions.
Due to a work injury, it was necessary for me to have a root canal as well as a crown on two of my front teeth. I was very concerned that the crowns would not match my original teeth. Dr. Chai walked me through the procedure and made me feel comfortable. When it was all done, I was amazed and happy with the outcome. My new teeth look great! Dr. Chai and her staff are very professional and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Chai for all your dental needs.
Dr. Chai is so great! I’ve been looking for a great dentist who is honest and capable. Dr. Chai is all of this and more. I am so glad she worked out for me. I used to see Dr. Burgess and was nervous when Dr. Chai took over but now I’m glad she is here to stay. I wish Dr. Burgess well but I am so glad Dr. Chai took over for him. The facility is clean and staff have always been very friendly. The visits are always painless and my kids survive them every time. Thank you!
Dr. Chai and her staff are all very friendly and professional! On all of my visits here I feel very comfortable and as though I am in very capable hands whether it be a regular cleaning or a more involved procedure.
I have dreaded going to the dentist for a very long time. I put it off for far to long. When I finally broke down and went, they made it so completely comfortable. The whole office was beyond kind. Thank you! ❤️
Had a wonderful experience here with Dr.Chai. She was extremely kind, gentle and professional in her approach and patiently walked me through all the details of the procedure. Perfect for someone like me who is quite nervous about going to the dentist. She clearly explained what equipment she was using and what to expect at every step of the way during the procedure to make me feel comfortable and at ease which I truly appreciate. Also, the office is fantastic with state of the art equipment. Overall, the service was exceptional! I had a great experience with Dr.Chai and would highly recommend!
Staff is friendly, courteous, patient, and helpful. Overall visit was great. Would definitely recommend they’re services.
General dentistry includes several services designed to help you maintain an attractive smile and optimal oral health. Among these preventive services are dental cleanings and exams, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants. Regular general dentistry will keep your smile in good shape and prevent the need for more extensive dental work.
To become a dentist, a person must first complete four years of undergraduate college and receive their bachelor’s degree. Then they will attend four years of dental school before they can receive their license to practice dentistry. In addition, all dentists must complete a minimum number of required continuing education hours each year to maintain their license.
While any dentist would be able to perform general dental services, most specialists focus their treatment on just one area. If you visit a general dentist for your smile care, you’ll receive better treatment because they perform basic dental care on a daily basis. If necessary, a general dentist can always refer you to a specialist.
